I adore all the pieces. I saw a lot of headboards reminiscent of this at the Paris flea market at Clignancourt. I almost brought one home, but have a problem in my guest room in that I have a window ledge over my bed and cannot go higher than about 44", so for now I have no headboard on that bed. I do love a french or swedish headboard.

Great find you!Windlosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17014227226507484798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1108049992087395469.post-40799917129997479782009-09-02T13:18:25.192-04:002009-09-02T13:18:25.192-04:00Petra - You are correct in that these pieces could...Petra - You are correct in that these pieces could not be made in Europe for these prices. I can have them made in Sweden or France, but you'd need to have VERY deep pockets and most people do not and I want to provide 'affordable' furniture. So, they are made elsewhere...and sorry, but they are not made in either India or China. They're somewhat like the EAP's Purloined Letter, they come from a great place and great quality control... sorry, but the "where" is my secret.J.Covingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01697145515217699019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1108049992087395469.post-19252090252660528722009-09-02T12:41:57.179-04:002009-09-02T12:41:57.179-04:00May I ask you where these pieces are handcarved? From the prices I assume they are produced in China or India?
There is no way that you'll get these pieces made in Europe for such prices.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15871565282521663165noreply@blogger.com
