J,
ReplyDeleteThese retro lights are such a hot look right now. Your selection is really nice and unique!
Cathy
What an odd little collection of lamps - they certainly appeal to the engineer in me. I like the tripod best.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely use a soft blue in your designer show house. The colour I used was based on Farrow & Ball's "Skylight". I had painted a sheet of bristol board with one sample pot and had some left over, so I painted another board to get a big sample. Well there was not enough left over to get the second board as well-coated as the first. In fact, I barely had enough to cover it. But in the end, I liked the "light" Skylight better, so got Benajmin Moore to make me a gallon. It is a lovely colour...really a porcelain blue with gray in it. It was the gray I loved in Skylight but too dark for a small room, I thought. The blue holds up very well in all light and looks especially pretty in natural daylight.
Hope all is well. Sounds like you are having lots of fun! Going now to catch a couple of posts I've missed.
Soon, xo Terri
