French Gilt Furniture #3 -- New Shipment!

These divine French antique and vintage bergeres, sofas, vanities and nightstands are one of a kind French gorgeous! And they'd really add some sizzle to a room as these classic pieces have original patinas from being distressed from years of sunlight, love and everyday household use. I love the Louis XV, Louis XVI and French Provincial Designs. They were found throughout Europe and in the French colonies... most are late 1800's to the early 1950's. The burlap and heavy linen is simply fabulous looking.

Delicious French and Swedish Furniture Line - Part 2

These fabulously charming antique reproduction pieces favor the Louis XV and XVI styles. Each piece is skillfully hand carved in Beachwood and constructed by traditional Mortis & Tenon joinery. They are constructed without bolts or mechanical processes.

The Paint finishes are applied by hand and then artistically rubbed back to resemble a smooth natural wear & tear finish. An oil based stain is used to seal and age the water-based paint finish.

All of these steps ensure that the pieces are all individual, and will age to be the antiques of tomorrow in as much as they are truly unique today.All items can be ordered.
