16 Antique Textile Pillows

The incredible precision, workmanship and utmost care that goes into the sewing of these antique embroidery pillows is amazing. The antique embroideries and tapestries and other interesting textiles are hunted across Europe and are then carefully paired with metallic “galloon” trims…. “galloons” were most often utilized in the making of European ecclesiastical garments. Then they are sewn onto a piece of luxurious velvet and hand trimmed. They are one-of-a-kind works of art. Enchanting and gorgeous... and are made right here in the USA, by a fine young lady who I enjoy working with.

1) 10 x 18 - Silver velvet features an antique Italian hand embroidered gold metallic cross bordered with vintage French gold metallic galloon. Vintage French gold metallic soutache is applied by hand to the seams. $410



2) 15 x 17 - Blonde velvet features an antique French hand embroidered gold metallic stumpwork motif of a branch with flowers and leaves bordered with French gold metallic galloon.
