Delicious French and Swedish Furniture Line - Part 2

These fabulously charming antique reproduction pieces favor the Louis XV and XVI styles. Each piece is skillfully hand carved in Beachwood and constructed by traditional Mortis & Tenon joinery. They are constructed without bolts or mechanical processes.

The Paint finishes are applied by hand and then artistically rubbed back to resemble a smooth natural wear & tear finish. An oil based stain is used to seal and age the water-based paint finish.

All of these steps ensure that the pieces are all individual, and will age to be the antiques of tomorrow in as much as they are truly unique today. All items can be ordered.

May I ask you where these pieces are handcarved? From the prices I assume they are produced in China or India?
There is no way that you'll get these pieces made in Europe for such prices.

Petra - You are correct in that these pieces could not be made in Europe for these prices. I can have them made in Sweden or France, but you'd need to have VERY deep pockets and most people do not and I want to provide 'affordable' furniture. So, they are made elsewhere...and sorry, but they are not made in either India or China. They're somewhat like the EAP's Purloined Letter, they come from a great place and great quality control... sorry, but the "where" is my secret.

Wow, that is very beautiful furniture - still a little over my budget but very affordable if it is something you love. I adore all the pieces. I saw a lot of headboards reminiscent of this at the Paris flea market at Clignancourt. I almost brought one home, but have a problem in my guest room in that I have a window ledge over my bed and cannot go higher than about 44", so for now I have no headboard on that bed. I do love a french or swedish headboard.

Great find you!

Fantastic pieces of furniture. White looks really good, so pure. The croissants and grapes make a great decoration, actually. They create a really nice, home-like atmosphere.
