Brimfield Favorites

We had a fantastic time at the Brimfield Antique show yesterday - it was 80 and Sunny, a perfect July day. It wasn't as crowded as usual and I noticed the haggling was up....a lot of stale inventory was finally moving. I was hoping to find some good European pieces, but saw very little - it was more Americana and whatnot's.

I scored these sweet silvered bottles (a nice mercury look) and the glass dome display cases from a chemists lab and the wonderful English 17th century wood carving fragment.

I loved this Italian chair, but it was out of my range for the store. So I drooled and snapped a picture for the "it got away" memory file.

Almost bought these 18th century Sacred Heart carvings - would make awesome lamp bases. Woke up kind of aching that I didn't grab them. If the dealer still has them, I might.

I liked this tent... it was put together very well.

Like these Italian sconces....but $1900 was too much.
